In 2013, Human Capital Management Services Group (HCMS) conducted a study including 60,000 VSP members to determine the impacts of VSP WellVision Exams® on employee health and employer healthcare costs. The study proved that WellVision Exams can detect chronic conditions earlier than Primary Care Physicians, leading to healthier employees and lowered healthcare costs. Collectively, VSP clients saved $5.7 billion over four years and saw an ROI of 145%.
